New Local Health Service networks to launch across Victoria, Australia
Each health service will maintain its board, CEO, and local identity.
Twelve new Local Health Service networks will begin operating across Victoria starting 1 July, according to the Australian government.
Under the new structure, each health service will maintain its board, CEO, and local identity.
The networks will initially focus on assessing and planning improvements to meet the specific health needs of their communities.
As they mature, the networks will expand their focus to include the care needs of priority populations, greater integration with other parts of the health system, and improved access to research and clinical trials.
