Ankura Hospitals for Women & Children has opened a 120-bed super speciality hospital in Vijay Nagar, Indore, marking its entry into Madhya Pradesh.
The new hospital has been launched to meet the growing demand for specialised maternal and paediatric care in Central India. It offers services in obstetrics and gynaecology, high-risk pregnancy management, neonatology, a Level III NICU, paediatrics, paediatric surgery, PICU, foetal medicine, fertility and IVF, gynaecological care, and 24x7 emergency services.
The facility is equipped with advanced labour and delivery suites, modular operation theatres, diagnostic services and critical care units.
The hospital was inaugurated by Indore Mayor Shri Pushyamitra Bhargav.
It is Ankura Hospitals' 18th centre and expands its presence across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha and Madhya Pradesh.
The network now operates over 1,500 beds dedicated to women and children's healthcare.
Dr. Krishna Prasad Rao Vunnam, founder of Ankura Hospitals for Women & Children, said the Indore hospital is a key step in the group's expansion and will improve access to specialised maternity, neonatal and paediatric care in the region.
“Indore is an important healthcare hub for Central India, and this expansion reflects our long-term commitment to bringing world-class maternity, neonatal and paediatric care closer to families,” she added.
The hospital is expected to serve patients from Indore and nearby districts, including Ujjain, Dewas, Dhar, Ratlam, Mhow, Khandwa, Khargone, Neemuch and Mandsaur, reducing the need for families to travel to other states for advanced treatment.
