New Aboriginal women’s health clinic to open in Melbourne
It is set to start in the middle of the year.
The Australian government has announced the establishment of an Aboriginal women’s health clinic to provide free healthcare services across metropolitan Melbourne.
The First Peoples’ Health and Wellbeing will deliver the clinic from their Thomastown and Frankston locations in the middle of the year.
The facility will offer screening, diagnosis, and management of various women’s health conditions.
Such conditions include pelvic pain, endometriosis, menopause, long-acting reversible contraception, and pregnancy termination.
