St Luke’s ElderCare officially opens One Punggol Centre
The new facility will offer centre-based daycare services for both seniors and preschoolers.
St Luke’s ElderCare (SLEC) has officially inaugurated the One Punggol Centre after its soft opening in February 2023.
The opening of the new facility reaffirms SLEC’s commitment to offering a hospitable ecosystem for elders with through centre-based daycare services and specialised community services, like musculoskeletal rehabilitation across every age group.
Currently, the centre has ramped up its capacity and utilisation, serving around 60 seniors each day. It has also provided community rehabilitation services with a team of physiotherapists, therapy aides and professionals.
However, the support that SLEC provides towards seniors has extended to their caregivers in the community. The hospital saw this as a means to reach out to its partners and recognize their strengths.

One Punggol Centre has also been forming partnerships with other entities to support elders in the Northeast. Organisations like Skool4Kidz Preschools and Sengkang General Hospital have offered to partner for intergenerational programmes and support enriching experiences and meaningful connections with preschoolers and elders, respectively.
