Singapore’s KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital has opened its upgraded children’s intensive care unit, children’s step-down unit, and women’s intensive care unit.
The redevelopment places key services side by side to streamline patient care.
Moreover, purpose-built isolation rooms have been added to improve infection control and readiness for future pandemics.
The facilities also feature switchable “magic glass” windows for privacy.
