KKH unveils upgraded intensive care units for women and children

Key services are placed side by side to streamline patient care.

Singapore’s KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital has opened its upgraded children’s intensive care unit, children’s step-down unit, and women’s intensive care unit.

The redevelopment places key services side by side to streamline patient care.

Moreover, purpose-built isolation rooms have been added to improve infection control and readiness for future pandemics.

The facilities also feature switchable “magic glass” windows for privacy.
