The platform allows global collaborations to speed up the AI-driven revolution in Singapore.
The healthcare sector in Singapore is supported by the initiative of the Advanced and Integrated Manufacturing for Sustainable Growth (AimSG) platform, which will accelerate the validation and deployment of trustworthy AI imaging models within Singapore’s public healthcare institutions.
GlobalData’s research revealed that Singapore witnessed 10 partnership deals in the medical devices sector in 2023 so far, signalling a pace after finalising over 12 similar partnership deals in 2022.
For example, Lunit Inc, a leading South Korean medical AI company, partnered with NTT DATA Singapore to introduce their AI-driven chest X-ray solution, Lunit INSIGHT CXR, in two medical institutions – Singapore General Hospital and Changi General Hospital.
