Healthcare organisations grapple with data utilisation gap amidst consumer trust

More than half of consumers were interested in using their data for a personalised experience.

Healthcare organisations have not fully expanded their use of personal and health data to deliver a differentiated experience, according to a report by McKinsey & Company.

The report revealed that 44% of consumers are willing to share personal and health data with healthcare organisations.

Meanwhile, more than half were interested in using their data to manage chronic conditions, receive personalised health and well-being insights, and receive personalised product and insurance recommendations.

In response to this trend, healthcare organisations are encouraged to employ the latest technology, including remote monitoring, AI, and integrated electronic health records to improve consumer experience and streamline operations.

The report also mentioned that it is critical for organisations to adopt an end-to-end transformation mindset, such as implementing best practices to get the most out of technology and data.
