Stage one of the project is set to begin in June.
Port Macquarie Private Hospital will undergo a $6.3m (A$10m) expansion, with construction set to start in June.
Stage one of the project will include the addition of a new operating theatre, increasing the total to seven. Onsite radiology services will also be introduced.
Moreover, the redevelopment will feature extended ensuites in 12 patient rooms, an expanded surgery admission area, a new lobby, a main reception, and additional parking.
A new central sterilising area will also be built to support hospital operations.
The project’s first phase is expected to be completed by April 2026.
