Amrita Hospitals deploys telemedicine medical unit for Maha Kumbh Mela 2025

It is equipped with diagnostic and treatment facilities.

India’s Amrita Hospitals has launched a Telemedicine Medical Unit for the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 at Prayagraj, under the direct initiative of Amma, Mata Amritanandamayi Devi.

The unit is equipped with diagnostic and treatment facilities, including a fully automatic medical laboratory, ECG, ECHO, ultrasound, X-ray, nebulizer, pulmonary function tests, plastering facilities, and a minor operation theatre.

It features a mobile coronary care and ICU unit, equipped with ventilators, defibrillators, an emergency labour room, and resuscitation stations for critical care. It also offers a 10-bed inpatient facility and 24/7 outpatient services.

In addition, cardiology, radiology, emergency medicine, respiratory care, orthopaedics, general surgery, paediatrics, and obstetrics and gynaecology services will be provided at the unit.
