Web-Pro develops breathable, recyclable medical materials
The company is enhancing PPE and hygiene products with uniform, eco-friendly designs.
Web-Pro is advancing the design of breathable, eco-conscious materials for medical and hygiene use, according to Sales Manager Jerry Lin during an interview at Medical Taiwan 2025.
“Web-Pro has been developing materials for over 30 years. We specialise in materials used in hygiene and medical applications,” Lin said. “We produce spunlace, films, and laminations—including breathable PPE films designed specifically for medical use.”
The company is also tackling the challenge of balancing performance with sustainability. “It’s always been important for us to offer affordable products that also align with ESG initiatives,” Lin noted. “Finding environmentally friendly or recycled materials that still meet medical standards can be difficult.”
Web-Pro is now exploring single-material solutions to make recycling easier in healthcare settings. “We’re working on designing products using uniform materials that are easier to recycle,” Lin explained. “Developing these simplified, recyclable materials will be our main focus over the next few years.”
