India’s Aster MIMS Calicut has launched the Da Vinci Xi Robotic Surgical System.
The system’s installation marks the opening of the hospital’s new Advanced Centre for Robotic Surgery.
The facility will offer minimally invasive, robot-assisted procedures across specialities such as urology, gynaecology, general surgery, and oncology.
The technology was inaugurated by Shri P. S. Sreedharan Pillai, former Governor of Goa.
