It will focus on building the latest GPU infrastructure and large-scale data platform.
Seoul National University Hospital (SNUH) has established a ‘Healthcare AI Research Center’ to advance artificial intelligence applications for accurate diagnosis and personalised treatment options.
The centre will focus on building the latest GPU infrastructure and a large-scale data platform and promote various research projects for the commercialisation of AI medical technology.
Moreover, SNUH plans to collaborate with key academic and industry partners, including Seoul National University College of Engineering, the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, and major IT companies.
“We will open new horizons in the field of medical AI and establish a crucial springboard from which we can look beyond Korea and advance our ambitions as a world-class research institute,” President Kim Young Tae from SNUH said.
