SPH Dental, Bloom Healthcare Dental (Central), and Bloom Healthcare (Northern) triumph at Healthcare Asia Awards 2026

The group was recognised for its nationwide expansion, structured community outreach, and contribution to Malaysia’s dental tourism landscape.

SPH Dental Sdn Bhd, Bloom Healthcare Dental (Central) Sdn Bhd, and Bloom Healthcare (Northern) Sdn Bhd received the Dental Clinic of the Year - Malaysia at the Healthcare Asia Awards 2026. The recognition reflected the group’s expansion from 4 branches to 46 branches within a year, its structured community outreach activities, and its participation in Malaysia’s healthcare travel network.

The clinic network operated more than 60 dental chairs and served 46,312 patients in 2024. The branch expansion increased access to consultations, specialists, preventive services, and restorative treatments across multiple locations under a single operating structure.

Community outreach formed part of regular operations across the clinics. Programmes were conducted in schools, universities, and local communities, covering oral health talks, practical demonstrations, basic dental screenings, and follow-up care guidance. These sessions introduced children and young adults to oral hygiene practices and regular dental check-ups at an early stage.

Clinical governance was supported through continuous professional training, updated clinical protocols, and investment in dental equipment. Treatment options were explained clearly to patients before procedures so they could make informed decisions regarding their care. This approach supported consistent service standards across all branches.

Membership in the Malaysian Healthcare Travel Council positioned the group within the country’s dental tourism framework. With a record of serving patients from more than 100 countries, participation in this council aligned the clinics with national healthcare travel standards whilst continuing to serve domestic patients through its expanding branch network.
