Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi names DAWI as exclusive Kuwait digital partner
The executive health programme enables cross-border bookings.
Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi has entered a collaboration with Kuwait-based digital healthcare platform DAWI to allow users in Kuwait to access selected medical services in Abu Dhabi through a digital platform, according to a joint announcement. The agreement was formalised in Abu Dhabi on 14 January.
Under the partnership, DAWI will serve as the exclusive digital partner for Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Executive Health Program in the Kuwaiti market. The arrangement enables users to search, book and manage executive health services delivered in Abu Dhabi through the DAWI platform.
The organisations said the partnership links Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s clinical services with DAWI’s digital health platform to facilitate cross-border access to care. The agreement applies to services accessed digitally by users in Kuwait and delivered in Abu Dhabi.
Dr Georges-Pascal Haber, chief executive officer of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, said the agreement is the organisation’s first partnership with DAWI outside Kuwait. He said the collaboration allows Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi to provide executive health services to patients in Kuwait through a digital platform.
The organisations said later phases of the partnership may extend to additional medical specialties and services. They said any expansion would be implemented through the same digital platform arrangement.
