Qatar shuts down private dental centre

The facility’s sterilisation staff must complete accredited training.

Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health has temporarily closed a private dental centre for failing to comply with sterilisation standards and requirements.

The centre has also been required to ensure that its staff responsible for sterilisation complete specialised and accredited training courses in this field.

This closure comes as part of the inspection visits and regulatory measures carried out by the Ministry’s Health Facilities Department for both public and private institutions.
