Qatar closes private health facilities over regulatory non-compliance

All other necessary legal procedures are underway.

Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has temporarily closed a private health centre for failing to maintain the minimum required number of specialists.

In a separate action, the ministry temporarily closed the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Unit at another private health centre.

The MoPH also suspended a health practitioner's license as a precautionary measure for working beyond their professional licensed scope.

All other necessary legal procedures are underway against the facilities and the non-compliant healthcare practitioners.
