Qatar’s HMC cuts patient waiting times in new partnership agreement

Patients will be referred to four affiliated private hospitals.

Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has signed a partnership agreement with four private hospitals to reduce patient waiting times in Qatar.

The agreement will allow Qatari citizens who face long waiting times for appointments at HMC facilities to be referred to Al Ahli Hospital, Al Emadi Hospital, Aman Hospital, and Doha Clinic Hospital.

The partnership supports the country’s National Health Strategy 2024-2030, said HMC Managing Director, Mohammad bin Khalifa Al-Suwaidi.

“By leveraging the strengths of both sectors, we are ensuring that every Qatari citizen receives timely and high-quality healthcare services,” Al-Suwaidi added.

The signing ceremony was attended by senior medical and administrative leaders from HMC as well as representatives from the four hospitals.
