Qatar closes private health centre over regulatory violations
All other necessary legal procedures are in progress against the facility.
Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health has announced the temporary closure of a private health centre following multiple breaches of healthcare regulations.
The violations included the facility’s failure to meet the minimum required number of nursing staff for operation and the use of unlicensed individuals within its nursing team.
Moreover, the centre’s medical director is a dentist, despite the position requiring a licensed physician due to the medical and administrative responsibilities involved.
All other necessary legal procedures are in progress against the facility and the non-compliant healthcare practitioners.
