Broken Hill Hospital ED redevelopment reaches ‘Stage 2’ completion

The phase includes the reconfiguration of five treatment bays.

Stage 2 of the $7.9m (A$12m) Broken Hill Hospital emergency department upgrade has been completed in New South Wales, according to the Australian government.

The phase includes the reconfiguration of five treatment bays, staff spaces and clinical back-of-house areas.

The upgrade’s final phase is now underway and will include the construction of a new main entry, reception area, waiting room and triage space, an interview room, and two treatment bays.
