Artemis Hospital unveils 5G-enabled ambulance in Gurugram, India

Artemis Hospitals, in partnership with MeduLance, has 5G-enabled ambulances in Gurugram, India.

The ambulance is equipped with 5G connectivity, artificial intelligence-driven diagnostic tools, and real-time telemedicine capabilities.

A study by AIIMS and ICMR found that only 10.8% of patients reached appropriate health facilities within the critical first hour of symptom onset. Meanwhile, about 24,012 people die daily due to delays in receiving medical assistance in India.

“It’s not just about faster ambulances, it’s about better healthcare from the moment the emergency occurs, all the way until the patient is stabilised in the emergency room,” Arora added.
