Davao Doctors Hospital and SHARE partner to address organ donation demand

A collaborative meeting involved talks on a dedicated organ donor unit.

Davao Doctors Hospital (DDH) has partnered with the SPMC Human Advocate Retrieval Effort (SHARE) to address the increasing demand for organ donation in the Philippines.

A recent meeting convened key departments from DDH, including the Renal Replacement Center, Kidney Transplant Office, Medical Services, and Emergency Room,  to discuss the establishment of a dedicated organ donor unit.

The partnership aims to enhance donor detection rates and support those patients in need of transplants.
