Singapore health and wellness firm launches mobile app

The app has teleconsultation, online booking and live chat functions.

Singapore health and wellness provider Ashford Medical Centre has launched its very own mobile app giving patients access to teleconsultation services and online scheduling under one platform.

Ashford said its Ashford Healthcare app, available on iOS and Android starting 1 June, services its medical and dental patients with a selection of digital features including online consultations with an option to have their medications delivered.

It also allows patients to book appointments online, as well as access healthcare packages offered by the group.

The app has a live chat feature where Ashford’s support staff are on standby to assist with patient queries. Treatment memos, X-rays, screening reports, invoices as well as medical and dental articles written by healthcare professionals are also available.

“The new platform facilitates a seamless digital interface, bridging the gap between patients and healthcare,” it said.
As Ashford Medical Centre celebrates its first anniversary this month, the firm announced on Wednesday new vaccine bundles and physiotherapy session packages.

This includes the packages for SHINGRIX vaccines meant to boost patients’ defence against shingles, as well as GARDASIL vaccines for the prevention of various diseases caused by human papillomavirus (HPV).

The clinic also opened its 45-minute physiotherapy sessions where patients can access its specialised facilities including the Super Inductive System therapy for pain relief and relaxation.
