Woodlands Health, SUSS to develop certification in human factors
The programme is expected to roll out in July 2025.
Woodlands Health (WH) and the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) have signed a collaborative agreement to develop a joint certification programme in human factors in healthcare.
The certification programme will consist of six modules, with five co-facilitated by WH staff. It is part of SUSS’ Bachelor of Science Human Factors in Safety programme.
Participants who complete the certification will also have the option to continue their studies and complete additional modules to earn a BSc in Human Factors in Safety from SUSS.
The specialised WH-SUSS curriculum will focus on key areas relevant to healthcare, such as time-stressed decision-making, safety coaching at all levels, and fatigue management.
The programme is expected to launch in July 2025, in conjunction with the next intake at SUSS.
