Swire Pacific acquires controlling stake in DeltaHealth

The company signed definitive agreements to increase its stake in March.

Hong Kong-listed international conglomerate, Swire Pacific Limited, has announced the completion of a transaction to increase its stake in DeltaHealth China Limited.

This move follows the company’s initial associate investment in DeltaHealth in 2021 and signed definitive agreements to increase its stake in March.

“We are very excited to be investing further into DeltaHealth and taking a controlling position.” Guy Bradley, Chairman of Swire Pacific, said.

“Demand for high-quality healthcare is growing rapidly as income and living standards rise, and we anticipate demand for the treatment of cardiovascular disease to increase in line with these developments,” Bradley added.

DeltaHealth comprises Shanghai DeltaHealth Hospital focused on cardiovascular care, and an outpatient clinic, DeltaWest Clinic.

Moreover, the group has expanded its services into thoracic surgery and oncology.
