Stage two of $673.7m Nepean Hospital redevelopment now underway
A seven-storey building is slated for completion by 2026.
Stage two of the Australian government’s $673.m (A$1b) Nepean Hospital Redevelopment is in progress with a tower scheduled for completion in 2026.
Once realised, a seven-storey building will be connected to an existing 14-storey hospital tower named “Building A”.
Moreover, the additional building will expand the hospital’s facilities including an adult intensive care unit, medical imaging services, in-centre renal dialysis, and additional inpatient beds with a paediatric unit.
In line with this, the upcoming establishment will also feature a new reception area.
Stage one of the hospital’s redevelopment concluded back in 2022 with Building A.
The project’s first stage also included a multi-storey car park and a centre for cancer care.
