IHH Healthcare expands cancer treatment support in Malaysia

About 500 more public patients to receive treatment.

IHH Healthcare is extending its cancer care programme in partnership with the Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM), sponsoring radiotherapy and radiosurgery for 500 more cancer patients referred from government hospitals.

Island Hospital Penang has now joined seven other IHH hospitals already involved in the initiative, increasing access to treatment across more regions in Malaysia.

The move supports the National Cancer Control Blueprint, which focuses on earlier diagnosis and better access to care. Over 1,000 patients have already received treatment through the programme.

By contributing its facilities, technology, and medical expertise, IHH Healthcare aims to reduce pressure on public hospitals and speed up cancer treatment for those in need.
