Singapore’s heart health translational research program called Project RESET has been launched with funding from $25m grant
A joint statement from NUHS showed that involves a large-scale study with over 10,000 individuals to map the extent of heart disease, identify new biomarkers, and develop preventive measures.
Project RESET is a collaboration of multiple institutions, including NUS Medicine, NUHS, NHCS, NHRIS, Duke-NUS Medical School, NTU Singapore, A*STAR’s Bioinformatics Institute, Genome Institute of Singapore, and Singapore Institute for Clinical Sciences, along with industry and community partners.
It aims to use data, including lifestyle and genetic information, along with artificial intelligence to develop effective preventive strategies and make preventive heart health more accessible.
