Talks highlighted the development of patient-centred healthcare models.

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Health, Fahad Abdulrahman Al-Jalajel, has completed an official visit to New Zealand to discuss potential areas of collaboration.

Discussions focused on Saudi Arabia’s digital mental health programmes and opportunities to integrate them with New Zealand’s telemedicine system.

The two sides also discussed cooperation in developing patient-centred healthcare models.

Key areas include integrating evidence-based traditional practices, workforce development, and improving system efficiency through knowledge exchange.
