Samitivej unveils expanded Children's Hospital in Bangkok

The eight-floor facility is backed by a $58.8b (THB 2b) investment.

Samitivej Hospital has opened its newly expanded standalone Samitivej International Children's Hospital at Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand.

The eight-floor facility is backed by a $58.8b (THB 2b) investment and houses 111 beds, including 2 designated for critically ill children and 8 neonatal intensive care beds.

The expansion also includes a hybrid operating room with biplane imaging technology for neonatal and paediatric surgical procedures.

Moreover, the hospital features a rehabilitation centre that integrates robotic-assisted gait training, Hybrid Assistive Limb therapy, and Redcord NEURAC systems.
