The Australian government has unveiled a new $2.8m (A$4.4m) pain management facility at Townsville University Hospital in Queensland.
The North Queensland Persistent Pain Management Service integrates medical, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and psychology services.
Moreover, the facility features six clinical consulting rooms, three clinical interview rooms, a procedure room, and a three-bed recovery and day infusion bay.
