The National University Hospital (NUH) has commenced a major redevelopment of its Kent Ridge campus,
By 2033, the hospital is expected to replace half of its 1,200 existing beds and add 100 new ones, said Ong Ye Kung, Singapore’s Minister for Health.
“By 2038, the remaining beds will also be replaced, and another 200 beds will be added to reach a total bed capacity of 1,500,” the minister added.
In addition, emergency departments, operating theatres, and specialist outpatient clinics will also be upgraded at the NUH.
