Indonesia's medical aesthetics market to rise 11.56% CAGR through 2029

Minimally invasive treatments like botox and dermal fillers are gaining traction.

Indonesia’s medical aesthetics market is projected to reach $495.64m by 2029 at a compound annual growth rate of 11.56%, according to Research and Markets.

The sector’s expansion is attributed to advancements in both surgical and non-surgical procedures due to technological innovations, increased research, and evolving patient expectations.

Minimally invasive treatments, particularly injectable neurotoxins like botox and dermal fillers, have gained traction due to quick, effective results and minimal recovery time.

“The formulations of these injectables have improved significantly, offering longer-lasting effects and more natural-looking outcomes,” the report said.

Meanwhile, advancements in laser and light-based therapies are expected to further boost the market.

“Fractional lasers, intense pulsed light, and radiofrequency devices have become standard in treating various skin conditions, including pigmentation, scars, and wrinkles,” it added.
