Hospital Authority appoints new chief executive of HK hospitals

Dr. Flora Tsang Hau-fang has vast experience under HK’s hospital authority.

A Hospital Authority spokesperson declared the appointment of Dr. Flora Tsang Hau-fang as the chief executive of Grantham Hospital and Tung Wah Hospital.

Tsang is a cardio-thoracic surgery specialist, having attained fellowships in Administrative Medicine. She had wide exposure as a senior executive for various management positions in the Strategy & Planning Division, Quality & Safety Division, and Cluster Services Division of the Hospital Authority (HA) Head Office.

Apart from her experience in services planning and hospital redevelopment, Dr. Tsang is behind the development of HA’s integrated clinical services, which cover organ transplantation, cancer services, psychiatry services, and cardiac and neuroscience services in her post as Chief Manager (Integrated Clinical Services).

Tsang’s appointment will take effect on 1 January 2024.
