HMI Group secures major stake in Harley Street Heart Centre

Health Management International (HMI) wants to increase its presence in SEA.

Singapore's regional private healthcare provider, HMI, acquired a majority stake in The Harley Street Heart & Vascular Centre, a leading private cardiovascular group in Singapore.

In a statement, HMI said Harley Street operates four centres in Singapore and one in Cambodia together with a team of five cardiology and vascular surgery specialists.

"Harley Street offers a comprehensive range of subspecialties including advanced cardiovascular imaging, cardiac electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, heart failure and preventive cardiology, and vascular surgery," read the statement.

Following the acquisition, HMI Group aims to expand its specialist services portfolio in Southeast Asia.

Harley Street’s specialists will collaborate with HMI Group’s primary care network to address the growing need for more accessible and comprehensive cardiovascular care and support patients in cardiovascular health treatment.
