The firm plans to use the funds to fuel its technology and infrastructure in Indonesia.
Indonesian healthcare startup Halodoc has raised US$65m in Series B funding, led by UOB Venture Management, to fuel its technology and infrastructure.
“There is a huge potential for us to use technology to extend the reach of conventional healthcare, providing better access for the archipelago’s large population,” said Jonathan Sudharta, founder and CEO of Halodoc.
The firm also aims to broaden strategic partnerships with hospitals and healthcare providers across Indonesia. New investors in the financing round include Singtel Innov8, Korea Investment Partners and WuXi AppTec. Existing investors also participated.
