Generative artificial intelligence (genAI) is gaining traction amongst healthcare domains to enhance efficiency and outcomes for improved patient experience.
In GlobalData’s “New prescription: Generative AI Meets Healthcare (Vol. 2)” report, more than 50 recent real-world GenAI applications amongst over 20 healthcare areas were examined.
“GenAI is revolutionising healthcare, fundamentally altering the industry’s approach to efficiency and productivity,” Saurabh Daga, Associate Project Manager of Disruptive Tech at GlobalData, said.

Dagha reiterated that the technology enables treatment plan customisation for individual patients, optimises drug discovery, and enhances predictive models for drug efficacy.
Meanwhile, healthcare’s high regulations present challenges for genAI.
