Econ Healthcare declares 0.23 cents of interim dividend per share

The nursing home operator also reported cash equivalents of $22.7m.

Singapore’s private nursing home operator, Econ Healthcare, posted 0.23 cents of interim dividend per share, with $22.7m  cash and cash equivalents.

In a financial statement, Econ Healthcare also achieved a 17.0% growth in revenue to S$24.8m for the financial period ended 30 September 2023 compared to S$21.2m same period last year.

The financial performance was mainly due to a S$3.6m increase in revenue from the contribution of the Medicare centres and nursing homes across the Group’s three markets.

The global demand for elder care services is seen to rise as the ageing population grows and healthcare needs evolve.

Econ Healthcare said it will implement effective measures to manage costs and risk and explore new business opportunities that add value to our range of services.
