How did you manage to become the first recipient in Asia of the new Emsculpt NEO dual-purpose body contouring treatment?

How does Emsculpt NEO differ from its original iteration, Emsculpt?

Emsculpt NEO builds off the legacy of its predecessor Emsculpt by simultaneously emitting both radio frequency and high-intensity electromagnetic energies. The end result is more fat reduction and muscle growth than any single gold standard product.

How does Emsculpt NEO compare to other procedures such as liposuction?

Liposuction is a surgical procedure that eliminates areas of unwanted fat from the body, but it does not act on muscle or tone the treatment area. Emsculpt NEO, on the other hand, is an excellent treatment option for busy men and women who not only want fat reduction, but also strengthen, tone, and firm their abdomen and lift their buttocks, without any downtime. The procedure is completely non-invasive, and patients are free to return to work immediately after and resume all normal activities.

Emsculpt NEO is said to contract 20,000 muscles in only one 30-minute session, how does this feel and what results can patients expect from this?

The treatment rapidly raises muscle temperature by just several degrees through radiofrequency heating, preparing the muscle for stress, the same way it responds to a pre-workout warm up activity.

In less than four minutes, the temperature in subcutaneous fat reaches apoptosis levels – i.e. fat cells are permanently damaged and gradually removed from the body. Clinical studies show that on average there is a 30 percent reduction in subcutaneous fat.

Furthermore, HIFEM+ energy bypasses the brain’s limitations, contracting the muscle fibres in the treated area at intensities beyond what is achievable during voluntary workouts. This extreme stress forces the muscle to adapt, resulting in an increase in the number and growth of muscle fibres and cells. Clinical studies show that on average there is a 25% increase in muscle volume.

How does Emsculpt NEO differ from a regular exercise routine?

Emsculpt NEO is based on High-Intensity Focused Electro-Magnetic (HIFEM) field technology which has the ability to induce supramaximal muscle contractions. Supramaximal contractions engage 100% of the muscle fibers in a focused muscle group area, helping to tone and increase the muscle mass much faster than exercise alone.

How does one maintain results from Emsculpt NEO, is there a recommended amount of treatments?

Due to the nature of the treatments and the reaction to the therapy, the results are not immediate. Not unlike going to the gym and exercising rigorously, muscle tissue takes time to build. Multiple sessions are needed for optimal completion. Depending on the individual at least four to six sessions, spaced five days apart, are recommended.

Emsculpt NEO treatment keeps working even after you finish your last session: your muscles should continue to grow while your fat will continue to shrink for about four months after you finish your last procedure. A maintenance program will help ensure a lasting result.
