Chinese navy hospital ship offers free health services in Jakarta
The hospital ship is offering outpatient services for eight days.
The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy's hospital ship Ark Peace has arrived at the port of Tanjung Priok in the north of Jakarta for an eight-day goodwill visit to provide free medical services, a Chinese embassy in Indonesia said in a press release.
During the visit, Ark Peace will provide free medical services from 11 to 17 November, by setting dockside outpatient clinics and on-board diagnosis and treatment.

They will also carry out in-depth medical exchanges with local hospitals through online seminars and remote video consultations on intractable diseases, the embassy said.
The Ark Peace was received by Rear Admiral Agus Haryadi, Commander of Indonesian Military Sealift Command, and Rear Admiral Yayan Sofyan, Chief of staff of Indonesian Fleet Command.
