Australia’s Campbelltown Hospital completes $413.5m redevelopment
The redevelopment features a new northern entrance connected to the main hospital concourse.
Campbelltown Hospital has completed its stage II redevelopment worth $413.5m (AU$632m) in the state of New South Wales (NSW), Australia, according to GlobalData.
The facility’s new northern entrance connects directly to the main hospital concourse, Hospital Street, to enhance service access for all users.
In addition, the hospital’s existing buildings have received refurbishments including the expansion of the pathology laboratory, pharmacy, renal dialysis unit, clinical information department and cancer therapy centre, as well as its first dental centre.

This project follows the hospital’s Stage I redevelopment plan worth $88.8m (AU$134m) in 2016 and a $22.6m (AU$34.1m) car park completion in 2020.
Meanwhile, the ongoing construction of the Lang Walker AO medical research building is a joint effort between various health and educational institutions to improve the Campbelltown Health and Education Precinct.
