Australia unveils new $42.4m Bendigo Health Clinical Services Campus.
The precinct brings health services under one roof for easier patient access.
Australia has launched the new $42.4m (A$63.5m) Bendigo Health Clinical Services Campus to deliver care across Central Victoria.
Previously known as the Bendigo Day Rehabilitation Centre, the facility is set to provide patients access to a team of health professionals that will focus on recovery from accidents, injuries and medical conditions, including stroke and heart attack.
“Providing a range of medical, allied health and rehabilitation services at the one address means locals now have access to a convenient, one-stop-shop for world-class care,” Mary-Anne Thomas, Minister for Health Infrastructure, said.
In line with this, the new facility features a hydrotherapy pool and specialist clinics including outpatient rehabilitation, allied health, dental, renal dialysis, breast screening, and diabetes education services.
