Australia announces $25.5m 2024 Rapid Applied Research Translation grant
Applications will open on 10 February 2025.
The Australian government has announced the 2024 Rapid Applied Research Translation grant opportunity, which will allocate up to $25.5m (A$40m) to projects focused on high-quality healthcare.
The grant supports late-stage research with the potential to impact clinical care, health services, and practices, translating into existing policies.
Eligible projects must use established knowledge and evidence to swiftly translate research findings into actionable healthcare improvements.
Key objectives include addressing gaps in current healthcare practices and interventions to achieve better health outcomes.
Moreover, projects are required to engage all relevant stakeholders—such as healthcare consumers and providers—in the planning, design, and implementation of their research.
Funding is provided through the Medical Research Future Fund’s Rapid Applied Research Translation initiative. Applications will open on 10 February 2025.
