Australia allocates $1.9m for palliative care research in New South Wales
Expressions of interest open close on 23 March.
The Australian government is set to invest $1.9m (A$3m) to fund research aimed at improving end-of-life and palliative care in New South Wales (NSW).
Eligible agencies can apply for grants of up to $190,000 (A$300,000) over three years for smaller-scale research projects, whilst larger-scale initiatives may receive up to $379,000 (A$600,000).
Funding will be awarded through a competitive application process. expressions of interest open close on 23 March.
The ‘End of Life and Palliative Care Research Grant Programme’ encourages collaboration between NSW Health, research institutes, community organisations, non-government organisations, and Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations.
