Rising population boosts APAC’s healthcare packaging market
The expanding pharma industry in India, China and Malaysia is promoting market growth.
A rising population base and growing demand for medical and pharmaceutical products is driving Asia Pacific’s healthcare packaging industry, which is projected to showcase a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.2% from 2021 to 2027, according to OMR Reports.
Healthcare packaging covers primary packaging such as bottles and blister packaging, as well as packaging for medical devices, the report noted. They can be made out of plastics and polymer or paper and paperboard.
An earlier report from OMR also revealed that the expanding pharmaceutical industry in countries such as India, China, and Malaysia will also impact the growth of the healthcare packaging market across the region.
