Chang Gung Medical tailors devices to local healthcare systems
Its medical solutions are adapted to local systems.
Chang Gung Medical Technology Co., Ltd. is positioning itself as a global healthcare partner by tailoring its medical device solutions to meet the needs of international hospital systems.
The Taiwan-based company was among the participants in the Go Healthy with Taiwan 2025, where it shared its strategy for navigating cultural and systemic differences in global markets.
“In Taiwan, we have a lot of good experience providing professional medical devices for hospitals,” said Maggie Chang, Regional Manager of the Overseas Marketing Department. “But the problem is that it's for different countries. They have different cultures and different hospital systems, so we need to know about the local culture and their inquiry and to meet their expectations.”
Price sensitivity is another factor Chang Gung Medical is addressing. “They have the budget problem because they may have a foundation, but budget will limit their app rating, and that's why we are trying to give them the best products with the value price,” she added.
