Deal signed during Vietnam-U.S. Comprehensive Strategic Partnership visit.

Tam Anh General Hospital Group has signed a contract with Mevion Medical Systems, Inc. to purchase and transfer technology for the MEVION S250-FIT, an advanced next-generation proton therapy system.

The cancer treatment system, often described as a “super-machine,” is valued at nearly $76.64m (VND2t).

The ceremony was attended by General Secretary To Lam, a high-level Vietnamese delegation, and U.S. officials, including Deputy Assistant Secretary of Commerce David Fogel and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Michael G. DeSombre.

The deal was signed during General Secretary To Lam’s visit to the U.S., under the Vietnam-U.S. Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, highlighting collaboration in advanced healthcare and sustainable development.
