SingHealth targets workforce readiness through new HMI agreement
Agreement expands practice-led training framework
HMI Medical and SingHealth have formalised a memorandum of understanding (MOU) under which HMI Institute will serve as a strategic training partner to support healthcare workforce readiness across care settings, the organisations announced in a LinkedIn post.
The memorandum builds on existing collaboration between HMI Institute and public healthcare institutions within the SingHealth cluster, including job placements and clinical attachments that support transitions into clinical practice.
The expanded framework focuses on practice-led training aligned with real care environments, reflecting the need for training approaches that remain aligned with evolving care models and increasingly complex clinical roles, according to the statement.
HMI Institute said it will work with SingHealth clinicians and educators to translate shared workforce priorities into training delivery that supports care teams across the continuum within the SingHealth cluster.
