Medical devices slump drags Vicplas International into the red

However, the group’s revenue for the period increased by 14.9% YoY to S$62.4m (US$48.8m).

Vicplas International posted a S$3.4m (US$2.66m) loss after tax during the first half of the financial year 2026 due to the decline in its medical devices segment results.

However, the group’s revenue for the period increased by 14.9% year on year to S$62.4m (US$48.8m) due to higher revenue from both its medical devices and pipes and pipe fittings segments.

Revenue for the medical devices segment was S$39m (US$30.5m), an increase of 11.3% YoY, mainly due to an increase in orders from customers.

Meanwhile, the pipes and pipe fittings segment recorded an 21.4% YoY growth to S$23.4m (US$18.3m) as construction activities in Singapore continued to be robust.
