Here's what you missed out on Hospital Management Asia 2017

1,069 attendees flocked to the event.

Hospital Management Asia went back to the Philippines for its 16th year last August. Together with the Private Hospitals Association of the Philippines (PHAPI) as its co-host and the support of 18 hospital associations, the event welcomed 1069 attendees from 383 hospitals/ organisations and 29 countries.

With five themes being introduced for the first time, attendees were able to select the theme that best suits their requirements. Those were Quality, accreditation and safety, Patient care and engagement, Leadership, strategy and management, Talent management and, Innovation and sustainability.

The conference topics provide the hospital executives “how to” tools to improve the performance of their hospital. In addition, the exhibition floor was filled with new solutions from Siemens Healthineers, GE Healthcare, Philips, Orion Health and more that could improve hospitals’ operational efficiency.

This year, 418 award entries from 102 hospitals in 17 countries were received for the Asian Hospital Management Awards. On the evening of 24 August during the Gala Dinner, everyone gathered to recognise the winners for their hard-work as they were presented with their trophies.
