Siloam Hospitals Group President Director to talk about digitalization in Indonesia’s hospital operations

Romeo Fernandez Lledo has 39 years of experience under his belt.

Romeo, 60, has held the position of Group President Director at Siloam Hospitals since 2014, after joining the hospital group in 2010 as Group Chief Financial Officer.

A certified public accountant in the Philippines since 1977, Romeo has also held president director positions at PT Matahari Lintas Cakrawala, PT Datakom Asia, PT Mitra Kreasidharma, and PT Inti Everspring Indonesia. He has also been President commissioner at PT Indonox Mitra Pratama and PT Unggul indah Cahaya Tbk.

Romeo is part of the panel that will talk about IT as the key to survival for Asia’s hospitals at the Jakarta leg of the inaugural Healthcare Asia Forum 2016 which will be happening this Thursday, April 28. Here’s more about Romeo:

HCA: What are your previous experiences and positions held that contributed to who you are today as a healthcare practitioner?

After spending 11 years of his professional life as a Certified Public Accountant in the Philippines, I have gone to serve over 27 years in Commerce and Industry Management. Serving in executive positions in various companies both in the Philippines and Indonesia, I joined Siloam Hospitals Group in 2010 as Group CFO and I am currently the President of Siloam Hospitals Group in Indonesia.

My educational achievements include Certification as a Certified Public Accountant in the Philippines, completion of Management Programs at the Asian Institute of Management, and the Strategic Business Economics for Senior Executives. Previous positions with The Salim Group in Indonesia and SGV & Co. (Ernst & Young International) has enabled me to develop a vast range of experiences, among others, in manufacturing, agribusiness and plantation, broadcasting and multimedia, logging and mining, utilities and services.

HCA: What are your key healthcare philosophies and ideologies?

I believe that every human being should be entitled to world class healthcare services when needed.

HCA: Can you give us a glimpse of what you will talk about at the 2016 Healthcare Asia Forum?

At the Healthcare Asia Forum 2016, I will be talking about digitalisation in hospital operations.
